YOUR VISION OF THE FUTURE

There have been a lot of changes in society over the past 30 years, and more changes will certainly continue to take place. A competition called YOUR VISION OF THE FUTURE has been launched online for school students.

Form a team of 5-6 and work together to discuss:

- what your vision of the future is

- how the world will be different to today's world

- what brings about the change, and

- how you feel about it

Then get ready to present your ideas to the class before you can post it on the competition website.

My vision of tomorrow world is that we will develop much better technology in every fields. First of all, massive medical advancement will be made. Robots will be able to carry out difficult operations and save many lives. Many kinds of medicine will be invented so that we can cure dangerous diseases like cancer, heart diseases or even HIV-AIDS. Secondly, the education will be also changed. Distant learning will be more popular as we can learn online and hand in homework, exercises online. It will be more flexible for each student as they do not have to come to the school at exactly same time. They can be free to choose learning hours and lessons that they feel suitable for themselves. Therefore, they can be more independent and responsible for their choices. In addition, they have more time to participate in extra-curriculum activities and for their hobbies, they will be more active. Last but not least, technology will also change our ways of transportation. Cars might fly to the sky or dive into water. There will be more and more big roads so that there is no traffic jam anymore.
